（中央社記者戴雅真台北22日電）親民黨總統參選人宋楚瑜今天表示，針對「單身女」文宣事件感到遺憾，要對兩位女性候選人與全國婦女同胞致歉。
「親民黨網路新聞台」臉書粉絲團昨晚貼出文宣，在中國國民黨總統參選人洪秀柱及民主進步黨總統參選人蔡英文圖片下，附上「二個單身女子，怎會了解一個家庭的需要？」文字，並說「想清楚！選總統，不是選政治明星！」
宋楚瑜傍晚在臉書粉絲團「宋楚瑜找朋友」發文表示，對於單身女子的處境與壓力，他非常瞭解，他身邊有很多認真努力過活的女性，包含他的女兒。台灣的女性同胞都一樣，多半要兼顧事業、家庭，擁有獨立自主的性格，她們的堅強與韌性令人感佩。
宋楚瑜說，能力與單身與否、年齡、性別、藍綠、族群無關，台灣應該是每個人機會均等、能夠施展抱負等的地方。「也因此未來悠關女性同胞的權益問題，我們會更重視。」
